Organised by Meat Management magazine, the annual awards will take place at The Royal Gardens Hotel, Kensington, London on the 15th November. They celebrate the extensive contribution women make to the UK meat industry and presentations will be made across 10 categories including the Meat Businesswoman of the Year Award.

Colin Hitch, Commercial Director of Moguntia explains why the company has become involved:
“This is a great initiative and we want to fully support and highlight the brilliant job women do in our industry. Women play a very significant part in every aspect, whether they are customers, our account managers, technologists or manufacturing operatives, so we are excited about being involved.
The Awards also challenge any stereotypical view about the meat and food industry being dominated by men. There will be many inspirational role models recognised throughout this process and officially on the Awards night. Several existing or prospective customers will be in attendance so the event will hopefully help forge closer working relationships. We are delighted to participate.”
